Which brings me to the next thing on my list, a giveaway for Friday! Leave a comment about what you would like to see on the back of the mama charm and I'll draw from the comments section. The winner will receive a pack of the beads shown above. They are from our latest batch of new pieces and they are some of my favorite! The small floral clasp is perfect for a bracelet or a delicate necklace of faceted stones and the coral branch link is great for an asymetrical summer piece. Ok! Let's hear those suggestions!
Lovely Mother and child Cynthia! On the back? "Agape" would be a great word meaning a deep love. Or the word "Mine or Cherish". Or 'C'est l'amour' meaning Its Love. Best of Luck for a Happy winner!
ReplyDeletePSsst ~ Great charms!
ReplyDeletemakes me think "mother love"
ReplyDeletehow about 'cherish'? I have thought hard about his, and it's really difficult (for me!) to come up with something that sounds meaningful but not too saccharine...it is a lovely charm though and I'm sure whatever you put on the back will be perfect! Gorgeous giveaway too - thanks Cynthia.
ReplyDelete'Forever Loved' is what I would like on the back of the mother and child charm. Gorgeous charms, thanks for the giveaway.
ReplyDeleteHi Cynthia, what a fantastic piece! How about an inscription "A mother's love never fades" or "Love in its purest form". Such a generous giveaway as well!!!!!
ReplyDeleteHow about Protect You.... or A Mother's Love is Unwavering
ReplyDeletegreat giveaway Cynthia!
Whatever you come up with will be fantastic!
How about just a simple "love" on the back? Nothing fancy, just simple and to the point?
ReplyDeleteI love the charm!!! :)
how about "home safe"
ReplyDeleteIt would have to be "cherish" especially after a conversation I had with my daughter yesterday. We discussed how precious life is, and how blessed her dad and I felt when she was born, and every day since to have her in our lives. How we cherish each moment with her.
ReplyDeleteThank you for the lovely giveaway!
Hi Cynthia, my sons best friends mom just had a baby boy on Friday i can't wait to see the finished charm because i want on for sure, as for something on the back..."infinite love" of "life's treasure" "innocence" are a few i things i think of when i see a new born with mom & thanks for the wonderful giveaway i would love to win ttfn L:)
ReplyDeleteCynthia, just had to comment on your beautiful new charms! I like the Greek word agape' for love... The unselfish love for one another.
ReplyDeleteI would add True Love, since a mother's love is the purest form here on earth.
ReplyDeleteSuch a beautiful charm!
The first thing I thought of (like many of the other commenters, I see!) was to simply inscribe "Love" on the back, then it got me thinking about my favorite ee cummings poem, so "I carry your heart, I carry it in my heart" popped into my head. I bet that's a bit too big for the size though. :)
ReplyDeleteSo so beautiful :)! I love seeing all your new lovelies.
ReplyDeleteMother and child
I carry your heart
A mothers love
I cradle you in my arms
Close to my heart
Je t'aime.
Yay to new beads! Lisa
Hi Cynthia! Such beauty!
ReplyDeleteI always think of "blessed" when I see parent and child imagery. I have a "blessed" parent and child pendant but would be honored if yours was the same.
Hi Cynthia! Another fun event!
ReplyDeleteOkay, how about this inscription:
"Forever holding you close in my heart"
Such a beautiful piece, looking forward to seeing it completed!
How about "Forever Loved"?
ReplyDeleteIt's a great piece I know any Mama, like me, would be proud to wear!
A Mother's Love is my suggestion... Lovely work, as usual!
ReplyDeletealway my baby
ReplyDelete"Unconditional Love", that's what a mother's love is. It is the closest love that mirrors the love that God has for His children.
ReplyDeleteJennifer Blevins
"Your breathing helps my breathing"
ReplyDeleteThose were the words my 4-year-old said when I asked him to tell me what love means
Lovely piece! How about "Love and protection forever"?
ReplyDelete"magic" or "magical" and this is SO CUTE
ReplyDeleteBlessings on you fall or just Blessed Be.
ReplyDeleteCan't wait to order one or two.
I Love this piece. Motherhood is everything to me. So I est thinking of this for the back of it:
ReplyDelete"You are my sweet everything"
Love your art...
Rosemarie Cowit
So beautiful.
ReplyDeleteThe word "sheltered" comes to mind.
Love goes on forever.
ReplyDeleteyour pieces are rather gorgeous, and being a grandmother I would say
ReplyDelete' FOREVER ', since mother love does not stop once they leave home, and embraces the grandchildren that follow
I know I'm late on the uptake here, but what about "Safe place." My 11-yo daughter, who is taller than me, will still sit in my lap and say it's the "bestest, safest place" to be.
ReplyDeleteWhat about a list of the word "mother" in different languages?
