This week's word for Illustration Friday is 'Hide'. I sculpted these mandrake babies from polymer and used twigs from their mother tree for hair. They are washed with acrylics. They are about an inch tall, nesting in my miniature succulent tree. Can you find them all?
This one is GREAT! So different and really awesome. Good job, Cynthia. (I call dibs on the fat one in the front.)
ReplyDeleteThis is beautiful.

Wow this is so unique. I love it!!

These are wonderful! I would love to nestle one or two of these around the base of some of my garden plants. I have adeniums, which have a sort of similar-looking fat trunk/exposed roots. I could totally see your little mandrake children selling like hotcakes at a garden show.
ReplyDeleteThey are wonderful! I love them....much cuter than I pictured mandrake babies!
ReplyDeletewow, this is lovely. I can see more of these in your future artmaking. Keep up the good work!
ReplyDeletePS, you should check out Amy Sols artwork. I thought of you when I saw her new work. http://www.amysol.com/
